AWR1843BOOST: How to disable the Config Port

Part Number: AWR1843BOOST

Tool/software:

I want to disable the config UART port and only keep the data port. I want to connect the data coming from the USB output to a microcontroller and process the data there, due to the dual VCOM that shows up with the single USB-PHY. I am not able to implement this.

Could someone please guide me on how this can be done?

I am using AWR1843BOOST running Out of the Box demo with Hard Code CLI, Trying to interface it with ESP32 through UART.

Hi,

How are you trying to interface to the ESP32?

Usually one would use the RS232 Tx, Rx to interface to another MCU

Table 2, J6 Connector, the RS232 Tx and Rx are exposed

I am trying to use the USB port to interface with ESP32.

I tried connected the TX and RX from the j6 Connector, however I receive no data on those ports.

What is the procedure to enable it.?
