Hello,
How can I connect this board to another host instead of using USB cable?
You can control the IWRL6432BOOST without USB by using the LP/BP connector on the back of the EVM (J8 and J9). You can directly access the UART rx and tx from J8.5 and J8.7. Refer to the EVM schematic. Note, S1.4 must be in ON position for UART to be routed to the LP/BP connector.

Josh
Hey Josh,
Hope you are well.
Does the config or the built image on the board need anything to change, or should it work straight out of the box. All thats required is to flick the switch and feed it +5 and GND ?
Best,
Fred
Hi Fred,
No config or software changes are required. S1.4 ON is the only requirement for accessing the UART from the BP connector but if you also want to provide power from from the BP connector instead of the USB or barrel jack connectors then some small board modifications would be required (See this thread).
Best regards,
Josh
