TMP175: about MSL level issue

Hi Team,

may we know about the MSL level issue?

because the VSSOP package is LEVEL 2 in the datasheet, but the label shows is LEVEL 1,

wrong label? or is the IC packaging upgraded? datasheet need modify? and release PCN?

    Hi Tommy,

    One of our assembly sites qualified as MSL1 and has shipped with that marking. MSL1 is a higher rating than MSL2, so there is no issue shipping MSL1 in place of MSL2. However, other sites will still ship MSL2 material. Due to customer response, the site that qualified as MSL1 has already been changed to ship material marked as MSL2 instead. Future material will be marked MSL2.
