IWR1843: Performance Enhancement

Hello,

We are capturing raw data from iwr1843 using DCA on the pc using this frame configuration Fsampling.

Chirps Number of Rx 256x255x12 so the frame size is about 3.1 Mbyte.

I opened a UDP socket with 8Mbyte and time out 50ms and measure the final receiption time is about 190ms which is equivalant to 130MBps although the ehternet speed can reach 1G after some analysis we conclude that PC can reach 1G so we concluded that this limitation is from the radar and DCA.

How to enhance this perfoamance ?

    Hello,

    Although Ethernet is a gigabit transfer protocol, the DCA1000 does not support all the way to gigabit speeds.

    This size of radar cube and transfer rate is already far beyond what is possible on the 1843. How are you expecting to use and export this radar cube in the real world without DCA1000?
