Can you provide logic analyzer captures of the SPI communication? It is possible there is some timing problem where the writes are not working properly.

Sorry, I cannot see the timing in the captures you provided since it is zoomed out. Can you take a capture that is zoomed in further to show the transitions on the SPI signals? Section 7.5.1 of the datasheet describes the SPI communication format which should be followed.

If you install the GUI in the default location, it is found in the directory below. One thing I see is that this is actually the compiled code and not source code. I was able to locate the source code and have attached it here.
