IWRL6432BOOST: IWRL6432

Part Number: IWRL6432BOOST

Tool/software:

I have fun the "hello Wold example using the CCS SDK 5_05_03.

During the Project Loads ,Launch , Run sequence a message cam up and the Com ports on the Board were changed from Com3,Com4 to Com5,Com6.

Now when I start CCS it no longer recognized my board automatically, I have to enter the board name everytime. Can you tell me what caused this problem and If I can ermedy it?

I am still going trough Example and Demos in using CCS but s am still using the visualizer for Flashing.

  • Hi Peter,

I believe the message that came up in CCS may have been related to the firmware on the XDS110 debugger on your EVM. When CCS detects that your device has outdated firmware it will ask you to update that firmware. When that happens it can cause the com port enumeration to change in Windows. Just to confirm, when you mean "CCS no longer recognized my board automatically", are you referring to the Get Started section.?

    regards,

    Josh
