Hello Team,

My customer wants to build long range people detection with IWR6843AOP.

They were able to confirm the example project with IWR6843ISK.

but they wonder they can do the same with IWR6843AOP.

Is it possible to do the Tx beamforming with IWR6843AOP?

    Hi Ted,

    Unfortunately this is not possible. The TX antennas on the IWR6843AOP are arranged in the below pattern:

    X

    This means that there are only 2 antennas in the azimuth and 2 antennas in the elevation direction, which is not enough for TX beamforming, which is required for the LRPD demo.
