As described in title. When developing my project with CCS on a Windows PC, everything is okay. However, when I tried to set up an environment on iMAC, I got the error 'Device 'IWR1843' is currently not recognized' when I try to import the out-of-box demo project. Is there any method that I can run it on a Mac os machine?

HI,

Your observation is correct. This platform is not supported by CCS 20.xx. You will need to use CCS v 12.xx

Hi Cesar:

Sorry I have to reply that I have tried CCS V12 version and I got the exactly the same error. I tried V12.0 and V12.8. 12.0 does not support xWR1843 and 12.8 got the error as I saw in V20.0. Can you help me confirm which version is correct?

Radar devices like IWR1843 have never been supported by CCS on macOS.

To clarify, there is support for it in CCS 20 on Windows/Linux, just not macOS.

I see. I do see the option of IWR1843 device when I create a new project however when I import mss and dss project, I keep getting error 'Device 'IWR1843' is currently not recognized'

Yes it will be in that list since the list of devices is shared among CCS on all OS. However trying to import any example will fail since radar devices are NOT supported on MacOS.
