I set up a board by using MSPM0 and FDC 2212. I tried to use I2C to configure FDC 2212. But, the communication cannot be set up successfully. For I2C bus, I have another device. I can use I2C bus to read and write the device. Therefore, this confirms that my I2C code is right. Can you help this?
The attachment shows that the I2C bus response when I tried to read the address 0x7E. You can see that there is no ACK.

This does not appear to be a a full I2C frame. See section 7.5.1 of the datasheet and the image below. The frame must also contain the address of the device. This is set by the ADDR pin as shown below.

Yes, I followed this frame to read the register. From the communication picture, for frame 1, the controller cannot get the ACK from the FDC so that other frame cannot work. Therefore, I guess that the I2C of FDC does not work. I attached my code. You can refer to it.
The picture shows another device which uses the same bus and has the same frame to read the register. I2C can work.
Therefore, I confuse whether FDC need to active something?

See the capture below I took with the EVM reading 0x7F. Can you also share your schematic? Maybe there is some hardware issue. If you also have an EVM, you could try using your MCU to communicate to the EVM to see if there is possibly some hardware difference.
