IWRL6432FSPEVM: PCB Stack Up Materials

Hello,

I'm creating a custom design based off the IWRL6432FSPEVM, I'm just trying to work out what materials were using in the stack-up.

I can see the stack up in the user guide but it doesn't quite match up with Isola's website

Core 0.127 MM 1/0.5 - is this 2x1080 or 1x2116?

Core 0.79 MM - The thickest core advertised is 2x2116/3x1652 at 0.711mm, not the 0.79 MM the stack up is suggesting

Please may you advise?

Peter,

The core thickness for all of the dielectric layers is 2x1067, spread glass.

For conviencince, I've also referenced the Isola datasheet and you can find the core information here.

Hi Blake,

I understand the 2x1067 for the 0.127mm cores between l1/l2 and l3/l4, but the core between l3/l4 is 39.39mil (1mm), so must be made up with something more than 2x1067...?

The "thick" layer in the stackup combines the core with the PP2116.
