Our recently procured IWRL1432BOOST dev board is not being detected by our PCs when we connect it via USB.

At present, when I power the DEV board and connect it to a PC via USB, it isn’t recognised. If it were a driver problem, an “Unknown Device” would at least appear in Device Manager, but nothing does. Although the board powers up correctly, our PCs (we’ve tried four) still fail to detect it. I’m not sure whether the board is faulty or if the DIP switches are set incorrectly.

Furthermore, the Radar Visualizer tool and CCS also fails to identify the DEV board:

I would also like to add that this has been experienced directly from out of the box, since we received the dev board we did not manage to connect it to our PCs. Could it be a case of a damaged board?

Dear Santosh,

thanks for your swift reply. I tried installing the driver however I am noticing that there was an error as I found this emupack install log:

ti_emupack_9.2.0.00002_install.log

The log file seems to be pointing to an error, not sure if it is related or not to this situation.

Hello.

I would make sure that your PC meets all the requirements for the emupack that you installed. Without these drivers you will not be able to connect to the device via CCS or through the visualizer.

Hello Santosh,

Apologies for the late reply, I have been out of office.

In terms of requirements are you referring to anything in particular?

I will try a full uninstall of everything and retry a full installation on the C: drive, as I have been trying to work on my secondary D: drive.

Just making sure the one you downloaded is for the correct type of Windows(32-bit or 64-bit).
