My customer is evaluating long range people detection example with IWR6843ISK and has some questions.
-How to confirm the beamforming performance
1-1. Is there the beam pattern set to confirm the beamforming performance?
1-2. Customer wants to confirm the beamforming performance using mmWave studio. is there a method to run 3 tx simultanously in CW mode? and if this is possible, can they measure the beamforming pattern?
1-3 is it possible to get the ADC data of Beamformed TX signal with studio cli in radar toolbox? if they enable the multiObjBeamForming on profile config, will this work?
-Material to understand Long range detection example
2-1. is there the flow chart for the example code? especially for the beamforming part. settings on Antenna array, simultanous TX, phase shifter applied or not
2-2. Could you let them know the difference between the advanced(left) and normal(right)?
[RED] in Advanced .cfg file, there's multiple profileCfg and chirpCfg and subFrameCfg is also exist. what is the role of these functions and how to change it?
[BLUE] in Advanced profileCfg, if user changes txPhaseShifter, is it makes beam steering?
[Green] when they compare the normal and advanced, txEnableMask have different value. normal has 1 and 4, Advanced has 7. in the document, 1, 2, 4 means Tx1, Tx2, Tx3. and for BPM mode, if they want to activate tx simultaneously, they need to use 3,5,6. is 7 means all tx?
