AWRL6844EVM: CCS 20.1 Can't connect to AWRL6844 EVM

Hi Rick,

I assume this happens when pressing the "Test Connection" button in the ccxml file. Is that ALL the output? I am expecting at least some additional output. Also, what XDS connection and EVM board is being used?

Sorry, I can see in your heading that AWLR6844 EVM is being used. I assume the onboard XDS110 is also being used?

Hi Ki,

You're right, this happens hen pressing the "Test Connection", and it's all output. I'm using the XDS110 .

When I using the CCS12.71, the same targetConfigs file and pressing the "Test Connect", it's ok, it can connect successful and pass the test.

Can you open a DOS command window and browse to:

<CCS INSTALL DIR>\ccs\ccs_base\common\uscif\xds110

Then run the below command:

xdsdfu -e

What is the output?

What happens when trying to have CCS connect to the cpu after starting a debug session? Any error messages?

Connecting the CPU is not a problem, and debugging can also proceed normally without any errors occurring.
