IWRL1432: Are there any differences in the usage between IWR1432 and AWR1432?

Tool/software:

We have produced two batches of boards. The difference between the two batches lies in that one uses the IWR1432 while the other uses the AWR1432. When we flash the same boot and app, the AWR1432 works perfectly. The IWR1432 can normally transmit and receive waves and perform calculations, but it reports a radio frequency (RF) fault issue.

When we use IWR1432, the value of mmwave_cfg.rfMonRes.monStat has always been zero.

Hi,

This is correct, monitoring is not supported by IWR1432 firmware. This is one of the differences between AWR1432 and IWR1432

Hi

The differences are covered in one of the three documents.

For the demo you are running the main difference is the monitoring support. If you disable that it should be fine.
