Hi Team,

I want to double check with you whether HDC3021/3022 can measure the ambient temperature on TWS or smartwatch application? If so, does the measured temperature will be affected by the body temperature? Thanks.

    Hello Frank,

    It is highly likely the HDC3021/3022 will be affected by body temperature due to the device being in direct contact with a user's skin. This can be mitigated by adding a cutout around the sensor as well as keeping it away from copper planes, however this may be difficult in a space-contricted design such as a smartwatch or TWS.
