DRV5013: DRV5013ADQLPG

Part Number: DRV5013

Tool/software:

Dear TI team,

Greetings of the day!

This is Akil Kumar. H from the EM-Design team, Nimble Electric division of UCAM Pvt Ltd. We custom design, manufacture, & validate the PMBLDC/PMSM motors.

We are currently using the DRV5013ADQLPG package sensors for the Hall feedback for one of the motors.

Very recently we have received a complaint from our customer that while making the motor rotate at 10-12 rpm, they are not getting the signals/feedback from the halls; they are facing the issue only at this specific low speed. If it is made to rotate at 100-1000 rpm, they are able to get the feedback from the Hall sensors properly.

This is a typical issue we haven't come across so far. As per our understanding, the feedback is only dependent on the 2 parameters: one is the input voltage to the feedback circuit, and the second one is the Br value in the air gap/Br value at the sensor face. Please let us know if any further factors influence the sensors feedback under the controlled environment & temperatures.

We request you to kindly address the concerned issue & provide us the solution for the to resolve it.

Thanks & Regards,

    Akil Kumar H
