AWRL6844: Minimum Values for Chirp Idle Time and ADC Start Time

Part Number: AWRL6844
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWRL6432

Tool/software:

Hi Radar team,

I found the following document discussing trade-offs in programming the chirp idle time and ADC start time for TI radar sensors. (Programming Chirp Parameters on TI MMWave Sensors)

Do you know if the following estimations are still valid for AWRL6844? What is a recommended minimum for Chirp Idle Time and ADC Start Time on AWRL6844?

All the best,
Ethan Cope

  • Hi, Ethan:

This document does not apply for AWRL6432 and AWRL6844 device any more.  Instead, you can use the SDK demo tuning guide and ICD document to understand the additional constraints in chirp design
