OPT3004: Need Details on Optomechanical Design Aspect

If unit is uncovered or there is no opaque backing to cover glass then there is no need to design the window dimensions as then there is no need for a window.  However when there are object that obscure the light to be sampled from the sensor than these need to be considered to understand the limitations of the system.  

In short: TI encourages customers to carefully consider optomechanical design for best results.
