DRV5032: DRV5032AJDBZR

Part Number: DRV5032

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

We have designed a PCB using the DRV5032AJDBZR (U3) and DRV5056A1ELPGQ1 (U1) sensors for magnet detection. Due to the compact size of the PCB, both sensors are placed in close proximity.

However, we are observing that the magnetic field intended for the DRV5032AJDBZR is also affecting the DRV5056A1ELPGQ1 sensor.

Could you please advise on how to use both sensors in close proximity without one being affected by the magnetic field intended for the other?

  • Hi Guna,

Thank you for posting to the Sensors forum!

Unfortunately, due to how close together the sensors are it will be difficult to prevent one device from seeing the magnetic field intended for the other. The best way to go about this would be to implement some kind of magnetic shielding to try to help isolate the magnetic fields from each other.

Another, potentially more time-consuming, option would be to redesign the PCB so that the sensors are further away from each other.

    Best,

    ~Alicia
