DCA1000EVM: RAW Data readings

Hi Team,

we were trying to follow the below guides and to get the raw data from the AWR1843 using the DCA1000:

We were able to run the AWR1843 in debugg mode and run some example with no problems but when it comes to connect it to the DCA1000.

there is no ping communication and we are not sure how to set all the jumpers in the right order.

can someone advise us in few steps how to get the RAW data ?

Hi,

Please follow the instructions provided in the video. The configuration for 1843 is similar to 1642

In addition to that, there is a DCA100 section in the AWR1843BOOST EVM UG that you can be used as reference

There is also a QSG that shows how to use an included LUA script

we have seen all these videos and user guides, still unable to correctly use the DCA1000

What version of the mmWave Studio are you using?

What error do you see?

There is a switch that selects between CAN and SPI on the AWR1843BOOST EVM. (see EVM UG)

Please make sure it is in the SPI position.
