I performed Self-calibration with Tx Backoff set to 0dB.
When using these results (MMWave_CalibrationData_t) for RF output, I set Tx Backoff to a different value, but the gain did not change as expected.
(The actual backoff was less than 0.5dB despite setting a 2dB backoff value.
Additionally, I confirmed that when transmitting RF without using MMWave_CalibrationData_t, the backoff was applied as expected.)
Are there any necessary procedures or settings to properly apply backoff when using previously saved MMWave_CalibrationData_t?
Or is this behavior expected?
