Hi team,

Customers in the project will use the OPT3001 - Q1.

Does the OPT3001 - Q1 have any requirements regarding the transmittance of the surface cover? The customers intend to use a semi - transparent material.

    Hello Xiaoxiang, 

    Many customers utilize cover glass with 5% and even below transmittance.   It is important to remember that this will increase the effective minimum resolution.   

    for example  at 100ms conversion time the OPT3001 has a resolution of result_LSB = 0.08 Lux ,   If 10% transmission glass is used then the result_LSB = 0.8 Lux (to interpret as lux that cover glass surface is exposed to)
