Tashiro-san,
The typical antenna gain for the IWRL6432BOOST is 5-6 dBi as stated in the EVM UG.
Hope this helps!

Hi Blake,
"~5-6dBi" is not accurate enough.
Could you give the maximum values for each channel?
Thanks and regards,
Koichiro Tashiro
Tashiro-san,
This is specified as typ 5-6dBi per channel. Can you give a specific reason as to why the userguide specified value will not suffice?
Thanks!
Blake
Hi Blake,
The customer needs the information to certify the board for Japan radio regulation.
Thanks and regards,

Tashiro-san,
May i assume that the customer has integrated this antenna design into their own system and built new PCBs? If so, please use the upper typical for gain. ie 6dBi. The customer should validate this since it is on their board. Multiple factors can conspire to adjust this number (tho typically resulting in reduced gain).
Thanks!
Blake
Hi Blake,

No. The customer wants to certify IWRL6432BOOST itself.
Otherwise they cannot use the board outside of shield room.
Thanks and regards,
Koichiro Tashiro
Tashiro-san,
Please advise your customer to stick with 6 dBi then.
Thanks!
Blake
