Tool/software:
We have configured our AWR2243-based system to use VCO1, even though our chirp spans 76–79.1 GHz. According to the documentation, this configuration should not be valid, but the system appears to operate normally. When we switch to the correct VCO2 setting for this frequency range, there is no noticeable change in system performance.
Does the AWR2243 have an internal mechanism that automatically selects or reconfigures the VCO based on the chirp parameters, even if the initial configuration specifies the wrong VCO? Or is there another reason why the system works with both VCO settings in this case?
