AWR1843BOOST: Encoding and decoding matrices for BPM MIMO for simultaneous transmission

Part Number: AWR1843BOOST

Tool/software:

Hello,

I have been trying to use AWR1843BOOST sensor in BPM MIMO mode, with all 3Tx acting simultaneously and all 4Rx receiving simultaneously.

I had a doubt , as in I see there could be multiple ways in which I can configure the 3 chirps (to form a subframe of length 3) : such as

A = S1 + S2 + S3 ; B = S1 + S2 - S3 ; C = S1 - S2 + S3

OR

A = S1 + S2 +S3 ; B = -S1 + S2 - S3 ; C = S1 - S2 - S3

.. and so on , I feel there could be some more matrices such that they remain invertible.

Now , I want to understand how will the performance of the decoded data , or more so , the range, doppler velocity or angle (I think only angle , because according to TI we are to decode only after doppler fft).

I request anyone to please help me out over here , been struggling with this for some time now.

Thank you,

Ayush
