AWR1843AOPEVM: Suitable demo for my needs

Hello,

I want to monitor traffic and blind spots for motorcycles with a mmwave radar placed at the rear of the motorcycle.

I chose AWR1843AOP for its compact design and I have a AWR1843AOPEVM right now. I have tested demos to got familier with the sdk and radar. 

I want to able to detect motorcycles at 50m range for my system.

Is MRR demo best solution for me or the other demos ? 

I need tracked vehicles x,y,z locations and their speed so I can transmit them via uart and proccess the data. Do I need custom modification on the demo ? 

Do you recommend other radar or AWR1843AOP is still the best for this type of system ?

    Hello Eren,

    For BSD application specifically, you can check the AWRL1432 which is a better fit and it also comes with a BSD specific EVM and demo as well.
    AWR1843AOP can also be used if its meeting your requirement. With the MRR demo are you able to achieve your use case currently?
