The device you linked is in itself a magnetic transducer to current shunt amplifier combo. 

I would suggest reposting your question with the drv2700 mentioned as this seems to be the type of device you are looking for.

Thsnks Joe.  I like the DRV2700 for my application but it appears to have insufficient bandwidth to drive a piezo at 750kHz.
