AWR2E44PEVM: LVDS maximum data streaming rate with legacy LVDS

Hi,

We are trying to understand what is the maximum data recording rate with legacy LVDS mode (Not Aurora).

The data sheet as shown below mentions max speed of 900Mbps per lane (DDR speed of 450Mhz).

There for legacy with two data lanes max total rate for 2 data lanes is 1800Mbps. Is this correct?

However in the DCA1000 user manual states that max rate is 600Mbps for Legacy mode.

Is the limitation of 600Mbps due to the HW on DCA1000 or the AWR2e44p?

How do we configure the LVDS/ DDR clock to 450Mhz so we can get max rate of 900Mbps?

Hello Joesph,

You can refer the demo application for AWR2e44p present in the SDK.
There we do the LVDS streaming.
Also its as the TRM mentioned 900 Mbps per lane.
let me check if DCA has any limitation

I checked with the team and looks like on the DCA1000 side there is a limitation for the 600 Mbps speed.
