IWRL6432BOOST: CCS-Not responding

Tool/software:

CCS becomes unresponsive often like this. It successfully builds a project, but when trying to launch target configuration it becomes unresponsive. I tried uninstalling and re-installing ccs, but that din't help.
What might work?

Hello,

I see you are using the older CCS Eclipse based environment. Please note that this version has been deprecated in support. It is recommended to update to the new CCS Theia based environment if possible.

With that said, please try cleaning out your environment. Try:

Clean your workspace (section 9.4.3 of: https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/users_guide_12.8.0/ccs_troubleshooting.html#clean-the-workspace-or-try-using-a-new-one)
Steps 9.7.3, 9.7.4, 9.7.5 of: https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/users_guide_12.8.0/ccs_troubleshooting.html#delete-the-debug-launch-configuration
