i would like to use temperature sensors item TMP110Dx, i will use the nominal requested power in the data sheet which is 3.3v.
the output alert pin is an open drain, can i connect it to a different voltage rail, let say for example to 1.8v?, it should work since this is an open drain output, but to be sure, do you see any problem/issue with this, can the open drain be connected to a lower voltage then the sensor itself (3.3v) ?
