AWR1843AOPEVM: issue when attempting to flash via XDS110 in CCS

Part Number: AWR1843AOPEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MMWAVEICBOOST, AWR1843

Tool/software:

Hello. I am using the AWR1843AOPEVM module with an XDS110 debugger. The XDS110 debugger has passed all tests, the output of which will be below. I've successfully flashed xwr18xx_ccsdebug.bin to the AWR1843 over USB. I then switched the SOP pins to be in MMWAVEICBOOST Flashing mode, as I was told that using an external XDS110 should be identical to this. However, in Code Compose Studio, flashing, let alone debugging, via the XDS110, is unsuccessful. Also, I have not connected the NRST of the XDS110 to anything, only GND, VTREF, and TDI, TDO, TCK, and TMS. While trying to flash via the XDS110, the board is powered via USB connection to my computer.

Here's the output of the XDS110 test:

[Start: Texas Instruments XDS110 USB Debug Probe_0]

Execute the command:

%ccs_base%/common/uscif/dbgjtag -f %boarddatafile% -rv -o -S integrity

[Result]

The controller does not use a programmable FPGA.
The controller has a version number of '5' (0x00000005).
The controller has an insertion length of '0' (0x00000000).
This utility will attempt to reset the controller.
This utility has successfully reset the controller.

-----[Print the reset-command hardware log-file]-----------------------------

The scan-path will be reset by toggling the JTAG TRST signal.
The controller is the XDS110 with USB interface.
The link from controller to target is direct (without cable).
The software is configured for XDS110 features.
The controller cannot monitor the value on the EMU[0] pin.
The controller cannot monitor the value on the EMU[1] pin.
The controller cannot control the timing on output pins.
The controller cannot control the timing on input pins.
The scan-path link-delay has been set to exactly '0' (0x0000).

And here's the error output:

CS_DAP_0: Error connecting to the target: (Error -1170 @ 0x0) Unable to access the DAP. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 20.2.0.3536)

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
