FDC1004EVM: Evaluation board keeps disconnecting

When you connect the EVM, what entries do you see in the Windows Device Manager?

For example, plugging a generic test board into my Win11 laptop USB port has a before/after listing:

COM10 is the new device and it appears stable within device manager. It is not disappearing/refreshing.

The Connected/Not connected status in the EVM GUI is changing state however. It remains connected for approximately 1 second and then disconnects for approximately 15 seconds before reconnecting again.

Can you disable any windows-based security software to see if that affects your ability to keep the connection to the EVM?

Hi John,

We use Threatlocker on our corporate network and it was disabled for both the installation and initial testing due to experiencing problems with other software installations.

I attempted a re-installation with the guidance of our IT team to no avail.

This issue is seems to persist whether security is disabled or not.
