Hello,

I have imported the mmwave demo project from the SDK. When I flash the project onto the board, it operates as expected. However, after rebooting, the board reverts to its original firmware.

Could anyone provide some suggestions? Thanks.

Hello.

If you are running the board in debug mode, the code is loaded into RAM but not into SFLASH, so when you reboot the board, it will load whatever is stored in SFLASH as the RAM is cleared on power off.

Hello Santosh,

Thanks for your reply. I tried to program the board in flashing mode (S1 swithes to all off, then pressing reset button). After switching back to Functional Mode (S1: first poistion is ON, the others are OFF) and press the reset buttong, the firmware of the borad still is original.

I guess the firmware still is downloaded into RAM rather than into SFlash. Could you kindly show me the steps to program into SFLASH. Thanks.

Hello.

What tool are you using to flash the device? I would recommend you use UniFlash to flash a program onto your device. We have a guide on the radar toolbox to walk through this process.
