Hello,

I have a question about RX antenna radiation pattern of AWR1843AOP.

I'm using AWR1843AOP (MIMO mode) with the version mmwave_sdk_03_06_02_00-LTS.

It is indicated "Receiver Antenna Radiation Pattern - Azimuth/Elevation" on Page 34-35 of AWR1843AOP's datasheet.

If I use all four RX antennas in channel cfg settings below,

is the composite Receiver Antenna Radiation Pattern in the azimuth direction narrower than one Receiver Antenna Radiation Pattern of datasheet?

(Because the receiving antennas are turned on at the same time. )

Yes, it will be narrower if MIMO is not used

We have not measured this, so we don't have any data

I understand if MIMO is not used, Receiver Antenna Radiation Pattern in the azimuth direction narrower.

Then, when MIMO is used, is Receiver Antenna Radiation Pattern in the azimuth direction same as "Receiver Antenna Radiation Pattern - Azimuth/Elevation" on Page 34-35 of AWR1843AOP's datasheet?

Sorry, I misunderstood the question.

Yes, if 1 Tx is enabled and all Rx are enabled the Radiation Pattern should be similar
