Tool/software:
I am working through evaluating the DCA1000EVM and i have gotten blocked where it is unable to read the FGPA version.
the suggestion was to flash the FGPA to the latest version (2.8)
i have downloaded the lattice programmer and i am going through the guide

The Drivers are installed and i verified they were applied to the com ports
the FGPA switches are set to 1 Off, 2 On, 3 Off, 4 On
when i go to the erase command it is failing and says
INFO - Check configuration setup: Start.
ERROR - Programming failed.
Device#1 LFE5UM-85F: Failed to verify the ID
(Expected: 0x00000000 Read: 0xFFFFFFFF).
ERROR - Check configuration setup: Unsuccessful.
