TMP006 Device ID

Hello,

     I am reading back the manufacturing ID and device ID (pointer register addresses 0xFE and 0xFF respectively) from the TMP006.  I receive the manufacturing ID according to the Datasheet (0x5449), but the device ID is coming back as 0x0067 instead of 0x0060 as specified in the Datasheet.  Is this OK?

    Hi Mike,

    I believe this is okay.  Using an EVM I had on my desk I found that the Device ID register (0xFF) read back 0x67 as well.  I will forward this to the product team to see if they have any suggestions regarding the discrepancy between the device and datasheet.

    Hello Mike,

    Thank you for helping to bring this discrepancy to our attention!

    The Device ID register should read 0x67, and we've submitted a data sheet change to reflect this. The updated version should be live on the web sometime next week.
