DRV425: Internal sensing-axis to package alignment tolerance request

Part Number: DRV425

Tool/software:

I’m integrating the DRV425 into a precision magnetic calibration fixture and am working on the error budget for axis alignment. I will be 3D scanning my PCB after assembly to determine the true package orientation relative to my system axes, so the only missing piece is the internal alignment tolerance of the sensing axis to the package body itself.

Could you please provide:

  • Angular misalignment (typical and maximum, or 1σ/3σ) between the DRV425’s true sensing axis and any mechanical outline references on the package.

  • Any breakdown between in-plane rotation (yaw about Z) and out-of-plane tilt (tip/tilt about X/Y), if available.

I understand this tolerance is often very small, but knowing the maximum expected value is important for my fixture design and error budgeting with such a high-precision sensor.

Thanks in advance for any data you can share.
