AWR2243BOOST: Interpreting 1D UDP ADC Data from DCA1000 with MIMO Enabled on AWR2243BOOST

Part Number: AWR2243BOOST

Tool/software:

Hey,

We used the following documentation to understand how we should read the 1D UDP data we receive from the DCA1000 on our Jetson Orions ethernet port running Ubuntu 22:

https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra581b/swra581b.pdf

The problem is now when we're trying to interpret the 1D array with MIMO enabled on the awr2243boost (we've enabled channelTx=7 in the config), there is no documentation for describing how we should interpret the raw adc data in the UDP packets. The linked documentation only showed the data format without any virtual antennas:

Appreciate any help.

Emil

  • Hi,

Unfortunately the third party that developed the DCA1000 is no longer available for support.

All the documentation available is included in the mmwave studio package

    C:\ti\mmwave_studio_02_01_01_00\mmWaveStudio\ReferenceCode\DCA1000

Some forum members were able to

We recommend you search older threads using google site search as follows:

    site e2e.ti.com DCA1000 linux

    site e2e.ti.com DCA1000 UDP

    site e2e.ti.com DCA1000 cli

We hope you will find some useful information

I also have some old information regarding the DCA1000 Protocol. I am attaching to this thread.

Our team will not be able to answer questions about this information.DCA1000 Protocol.pdf

    Thank you
