Q1: When the SOP setting is "MODE2," is it acceptable to keep TDO_SOP0 pulled up when using JTAG?

Q2: Why the constants of the SOP0 pull resistor: common R203: 10kΩ, R204: 7.87kΩ for pull-up, and R205: 82.5kΩ for pull-down?

Q3: Why the constants of the SOP1 pull resistor: common R206: 10kΩ & R207: 82.5kΩ, R207: 7.87kΩ for pull-up, and R208: 82.5kΩ // R207: 7.87kΩ for pull-down? Also, is it correct to understand "OFF" as a weak pull-down?

Hi Isogai,
It is acceptable to keep TDO_SOP0 pulled up while using JTAG. However, if you only have a pull-up resistor on TDO-SOP0 then JTAG will not work. Please consider using resistor combination circuitry as per the EVM.
Your understanding is correct, we have a series 10k ohm resistor, 7.87k ohm Pull-up and 82.5k ohm pull-down resistors. This combination is selected and validated such that it will help in meeting VIH & VIL limits for SOP registration and functional operation of interfaces (e.g. JTAG).

One more question from customer:

The R208:82.5k ohm of SOP1 always exists on pull-up and pull-down. Why is it different from SOP0?

Hi Isogai,
I apologize for the confusion. We have same circuitry for both SOP0 and SOP1. 7.87k ohm act as a Pull-up and 82.5k ohm act as pull-down resistors in both the cases.
