AWR2944: 2944 timer's hardware and limit

Tool/software:

1、Does 2944's timer need any extern input to trigger it,or it just triggered by Internal clock crystal？？

2、My timer period is 1second,can I realize more complex business in timer's ISR,such as read data through IIC or read data from other sensor and deal the data?

Hello,

All internal timing and clocking is referenced to the external XTAL. There are no other external signals/clocks required.

For specific details on the timer, you can refer to section 15 of the TRM.
