Section 6.3.3-Setting the Threshold Adjust Values-of the data sheet for this product (data sheet link below) provides a formula to determine approximate switching distances. However, when I follow the two examples provided, I do not come up with the same results (3.17mm (me) vs. 3.75mm (TI) & 8.48mm (me) vs. .25mm (TI) respectively). Numbers are really not my thing (no, I am definitely not an engineer) but any guidance on the matter would be greatly appreciated. I am also very receptive to ridicule, especially when it comes to math. Thank you.
