PGA460: Can I extract the DIGITAL Eco data with 1us - 8 bit sample rate withou using CLK pin?

Hello,

I've been working with PGA460 for a while now but I came across a very interesting feature that I hadnt noticed yet - The Digital Echo 1us sampling. That can be very useful for my application.

I have a prototype that uses UART without CLK pin but I wish to extract the complete Eco output for my application algorithm purpose. 

Is it possible? If yes, how?

    Hello Gabriel,

    Are you referring to the direct data burst mentioned in section 7.3.7.2 of the datasheet?  This function does require the sychronous USART, therefor a clock signal.

    If you just want then echo dump, you can extract the 128 byte echo data dump using the process below.
