We have to detect  water leak ,Can you  share  us 

1) Advatage of  detecting leak using capacitvie  and  ressitive method which is  more  suitable and  accurate  for  more than 10  years of life span 
2) How we  can distinguish  between condensation and  actual leak 

3)Can you  share us which  device  will be  suitable for  our  application ?

4) Can you share  us any  documents  or  application notes  which can provide  us  these  details .

    Abhishek,

    It will be difficult for a capacitive sensor to distinguish between a leak and condensation. 
    You might be able to overcome this with clever mechanical design, but for the actual sensor, water is water.

    The capacitive sensor we like to recommend is the FDC1004.
