FDC2212: Cannot reactive the FDC2212

Hi TI Experter,

Now, I am trying the shutdown function of FDC2212. I am using the pin of M03519 to control the SD pin of FDC2212. When the SD pin was high, I found that FDC was shutdowned. But, when the SD pin is low, the FDC cannot work again. I cannot find any output of INX. Can you help to explian this? And, how to fix it?

Hello Dengkuan,

When you set the SD pin to low after being in shutdown mode, registers are returned to default values. Are you setting the registers again after coming out of shutdown?

Yes, I reset up the registers.

To be clear, you set the registers after coming out of shutdown and you still don't see any signal on the coil? Can you also read back the registers to be sure they were written properly?

That is the key point. After coming out of shutdowning and seting the registers, the code is blocking when I try to read the registers. So, I am not sure whether to need to wait for some time after coming out of shutdown?
