Good day.

How to connect a four - wire PT1000 to the RTD interface of the TDC1000 - C2000EVM?

What is the precision of the TOF measurement of the TDC1000 - C2000EVM? Why, under the condition that the measurement conditions remain unchanged, does the value on the GUI interface gradually decrease from 29.72583 us to 29.695529 us over time?

    Hello,

    The TDC1000 is not intended for 4 wire RTDs.  It should be used with 2 wire RTD.  If they really wanted to use the 4 wire RTD, they could just use the 2 wires of the sensor and ignore the other 2 wires.  This would negate the benefits of a 4 wire RTD though.  

    Resolution of the measurement can be into the mm range depending on frequency.  The shift could be due to environmental factors such as temperature, but this seems within reason(~1mm).
