LP-MSPM0G3519: Subject: Issues Observed with Trace32 – CAN Stack & In-Target Reset

Hello team,

We are using MCAL : MCAL_MSPM0_00.02.05.00 package

We are currently facing two issues related to Trace32 usage:

  1. CAN Stack
    After flashing our CAN stack, we are able to observe frames on PCAN initially. However, when we stop the trace and run it again, the frames no longer appear.
    Kindly refer to the attached video for further details.

  2. Target Reset
    When performing a In-target reset, the MCU registers are getting cleared. Upon running the application again, the system enters an exception state. Kindly refer to the attached video for further details.

    Hi,

    Based on your description, have you tried to debug your project in CCS instead of using the trace32? The issue seems to relate to the software itself or the debugger. We need to figure it out first.
