I am conducting LVDS raw data capture tests using the DCA1000EVM together with the IWR6843ISK board.
I have a question regarding the LVDS data storage format. The reference document I used is “SWRA581B – December 2017 – Revised October 2018: mmWave Radar Device ADC Raw Data Capture.”
On page 9 of this document, in Figure 10. xWR16xx/IWR6843 Real Data Format Using DCA1000, there is no explanation for the case when each TX antenna transmits individually (rather than transmitting all three TX simultaneously).
Could you clarify how the LVDS BIN file is structured in this case?
Specifically, when transmitting one TX at a time, is the stored LVDS data format structured as shown in option 1 or option 2 in the attached figures?
I would appreciate your confirmation.
