LDC1312: <LDC1312>How to improve sensitivity and how to use it when covered

Hi All,
I have a question about LDC1312.
Please see the following questions.
1)Is there a way to improve the touch sensitivity of the IDC1312?
2)Is there a way to use the LDC1312 while it is covered with a resin or other cover?
Customer would like to know how to make the LDC1312 respond normally when touched through the cover.
