Does the AWR2E44P require any special considerations to connect with a Launch-On-Package (LOP) antenna?

How should the connection be made? Also, does TI recommend any specific antenna for this IC? Is there a connection guide available for interfacing a Launch-On-Package (LOP) antenna with the AWR2E44P IC?

Are there any issues associated with using a Launch-On-Package (LOP) antenna with the AWR2E44P IC, particularly related to vibration, sensitivity, or other specific challenges?

In short, the design is very sensitive to many factors at these frequencies. Even things such as BGA ball height after soldering can impact your performance. If you are new to antenna design it is highly recommended that you reach out to a 3rd party for your design. We have partnered with Huber+Suhner, Golden Devices, and SPEED for our 3D waveguide antenna designs on our EVMs. You can work directly with these vendors to build an antenna for your specific use case and PCB design.
