HDC3020: Humidity accuracy below 0C?

Hi Sensors team, I have a customer that is interested in using the HDC3020 for humidity sensing in temperatures below 0C. What is the expected humidity in this case?

The datasheet clearly defines the humidity accuracy at room temperature (25C), and from 0C to 80C. Do we have an expected humidity accuracy for below 0C?

Hi John,

As illustrated in figure 6-3, the typical RH accuracy at 0C is +/-1-2%RH (depending on the ambient RH level). There is not a min/max RHacc spec at 0C.

Hi John,

Apologies for misreading your question. There is not a typical datasheet specification for below 0C. The reason being, HDC3020 internally calculates the RH using the dew point, however below 0C the frost point comes into play and the HDC3020's internal logic scheme is no longer valid.
